Castle Surface (Layer 0)
The crumbling ruins of the castle's primary structures are a hot spot of activity. Goblins, kobolds, elves and the dead skirmish back and forth amongst the rubble.

Layout
Castle Robar is built on a rise overlooking the lake. Patches of the wall (indicated on the map) are collapsed from age or violent action. A good climber can reach these spots, but the slope is too slippery for others to ascend without assistance. Large sections of the gatehouse roof are missing, along with the whole front of the eastern tower.
Past the gatehouse, the castle has a keep and three surviving towers, as well as a number of ruins scattered around the central grounds.

GATEHOUSE (L0-A)
Many loyal soldiers died defending the gates of Castle Robar, and their unquiet spirits are the primary danger of exploration.
CASTLE KEEP (L0-B)
Most of the keep has been picked clean over the long years since its abandonment; still, there are some secrets to be found here.
WEST TOWER (L0-C)
The West Tower was the home of the royal knights-in-residence. Now it is home to dark spirits. Usgrosviv likes to pirch on the crumbling pinnacle from time to time.
LIBRARY TOWER (L0-D)
Once the sole abode of King Robar's mysterious court wizard, the Library Tower is nearly intact. Some of the white wash still clings to the inner side of the ominously quiet structure.
DRAGON TOWER (L0-E)
This curtain wall tower is unnotable except for the withering skeleton of a black dragon slithering through the stairwells. It is a favorite haunt of Hrekimjeskhor.
Sun Tower (Side-Layer A)
Sun Tower is not exactly a tower of the castle, but an extra-planar extrusion crafted by Archmage Leon Prelleth to protect his most secret magics. It is far more dangerous than the locations which touch it on the Mortal Sphere.
ACCESSING SUN TOWER
Inserting the Gold Sword into the hand of the Archmage's statue in 0-D7 (chapel of the Library Tower) reveals a shimmering golden portal to A-1.
